Learning Commons

The Cos Cob Learning Commons is a place like no other in our school. It is a full-service learning center where students and teachers meet and gather to do research, collaborate, and create. Tech support for students and staff is also available in the Learning Commons, and having the Innovation Space nearby gives students easy access to opportunities and materials to showcase their learning.

Digital technologies and online databases mean students no longer need to go to a library to access information but a learning commons offers more. A learning commons is furnished and set up so there is a great deal of flexibility for students and staff to collaborate, create and work on projects in groups of all sizes. It is not unusual to have two or three classes in the Cos Cob School Learning Commons at the same time. It is a bustling beehive of learning!
